A four-member band performing on stage with blue lighting.

our shared love of the blues

Having lived our lives and putting down our instruments for decades, we fortuitously came together at a Blues Jam in Elk Grove Village in 2018. Since then, we’ve formed a close-knit Blues music family and have enjoyed sharing our passion through live blues performances, evolving into a dedicated Blues rock band.

    Steve "Smooth" Smith

Bass and Vocals. Born in Philadelphia, Steve has participated in a variety of musical experiences over the years. With a love of all genres of music, he acknowledges blues music as the root of much of modern music. To that end, he enjoys laying down a solid groove with his bass, often performing with a blues rock band and engaging in live blues performances.

    Joe "fiddle sticks" Funari

Drums. In his bottom-heavy thumping style, Joe's rock roots shine through when he plays the blues music that is the backbone of his blues rock band. His backbeats are delivered with feeling and authority, laying down a pocket so deep you could fall into it, especially during live blues performances.

With influences ranging from the classic Blues masters to reggae, hip-hop, and R&B, this talent is poised to make waves in the Blues rock band scene, captivating audiences with live blues performances.
